Mary Gorrell Parker

Mary Gorrell Parker, age 78 of Newport, passed away Monday July 20, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Zora Owens; brother Bobby Owens; sisters Jettie Hux, Janice Valentine and Lillie Mae Strange. She is survived by her children Mitchell Gorrell (Angela), Roger Gorrell (Zana), Jimmy Gorrell (Carol); Daughter; Kathy Miezin (Jerry); brothers John Owens, Jimmy Owens; sisters Betty Short, Carolyn Shelton; She is also survived by several nephews and nieces, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and special friend Earl Whaley. A graveside service will be held At 10:00 A.M. Thursday July 23, 2020 at Union Cemetery with Dennis Strange officiating.
