Mary Helen Mincey

Mary Helen Mincey Age 82 of Seymour, went to her heavenly home Friday, July 18th, 2025. Mary accomplished many things in life while here on earth, including graduating from Parrottsville High School in 1961. She obtained her RN in 1966 at the Baptist School of Nursing. She was a First Lieutenant Officer of the Army serving as a Medical Surgical Nurse. She earned the Army Commendation Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. She was a lifetime member of the Morristown DAV Post 5266.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Ray "Flea" and Christeen  Edna "Suze" Stinson, her sister Janette Stinson, her niece, Tabitha Costner, and her great nephew, Kade Costner.

She was survived by her sons, David and wife Bethany Mincey, and Mark Mincey. Her granddaughters, Merideth and Marybeth Mincey. Her grandson, Sage Tuab. Sister, Edna and late husband Victor Costner. Brother, Carroll Stinson. Her Nephew, Darrin and wife Kim Costner. Her Niece, Mandi and husband Ben Susong. Her great nephews Drue and Jude Costner, Keegan Allen, and JT Hickman. Special cousin Shelia Brown. She also leaves behind several cousins and friends.

Services will be held Wednesday July 23, 2025 at Resthaven Mausoleum Chapel Visitation from 2:00 - 3:00 PM, Funeral starting at 3:00 PM with burial to follow with military honors.
