Obituary
Mary Nell Williamson, age 84 of Newport, TN, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at her home. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Williamson; daughter, Dotty Dyke; daughter-in-law, Felicia Williamson; and parents, John Yate and Maggie Rathbone Yates. She is survived by her son, Robert Williamson of Cosby; grandchildren, Shawnda (Charles) Fox; Tonya (Scott) Williams, all of Newport; Dee Ann Garey of Alabama, Cody Smith; great-grandchildren, Ciara Williams, Destiny Rollins, Zach (Jaylin) Magouirk, Colton Rollins (Macy Stump), all of Newport; great-great-grandchildren, Liam Rollins, Kyla Koger, Braylen Rollins, Zalyn Magouirk, all of Newport, Keven Garey, Konnor Garey and Kabrena Garey, all of Alabama; sister, Arzell Ledford of Swannanoa, NC, special friend, Jennifer Dalton, along with several nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
Visitation services will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel of Resthaven Memorial Gardens; funeral services will immediately follow.
