Nelson Newman Obituary

Nelson Decatur Newman, 75 of Talbott, TN, passed into the arms of Jesus on November 22, 2019. He was proceeded in death by his wife Christine Newman, parents Charles Sullivan “Jack” and Audra G. Clinton Newman; brothers Carl, Roy, and Joe Newman; sisters Joyce Walker, Myrtle Mae Wise, and Juanita Loveday. He is survived by his daughters Angela (Les) Groseclose and Renee (Rich) Stover; grandchildren Nicholas Davis, Sky Meyers, Heather (Shawn) Britton, Brittany Meyers, and Stevie Dodillet; fourteen great grandchildren; brothers Charles (Kathaleen), George, and James Newman; sisters Roberta Dalton and Rowena Lowe; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A 10:00 a.m. graveside service will be held on December 7, 2019, at Swannsylvania Cemetery.
