Pamela "Pam" Ann Prather
Obituary
Pam was born August 30, 1966 to the late Earlyn and Jeanelle Carrier of Eunice, LA. Pam has resided in Newport, Tn. for the last 31 years. She loved sitting outside on her porch with her dogs and watching her grandchildren play. She loved going to her farm to see her horses and loved to read. She had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. Her biggest accomplishments were marrying the love of her life, raising her children, and helping raise her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Earlyn and Jeanelle Carrier; Grandparents; Father in law Burley Prather. She is survived by her husband Verland Prather; son Ryan and wife Mauri Prather; daughter Brittany and husband Steven Walton; grandchildren Hunter Prather, Lathan, Christian, Brayland, Weston Logan, Avery and Deklan Prather; brothers Earlyn Carrier Jr., Paul Carrier and wife Liz, John Carrier, Billy Carrier; sister Rebecca Valerio and husband Tony.
Visitation will begin Friday, August 25, 2023 at Resthaven Mausoleum Chapel from 1:00 to 3:00 PM with the funeral service starting at 3:00PM officiated by Jon Walton. Burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
