Patricia (Horton) Harer

Patricia Harer, age 96, of Newport, passed away peacefully at home in the company of her loving husband of 69 years. Patricia was born in Newport, TN and retired from Bellsouth after many years. She was a devoted wife to Robert, beloved mother to Joy and a loving Nana to Jordan, Kelli and great-grandson, Connor.

Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Joy Strange and granddaughter, Shelly Strange.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Harer; son-in-law, Larry Strange; grandson, Jordan Strange; granddaughter, Kelli (Mitch) Bureta; great-grandson, Connor Bureta; and nephews, Terry Dover and Kenneth Harer.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11am at Union Cemetery. Tom Mooty officiating.
