Preston Charles Southerland

Preston Charles Southerland, age 34, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Preston was recently preceded in death by his mother, Donna Southerland, whom he loved and cared for dearly. 

Preston is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Mary Southerland; grandmother, Mary Hampton; grandfather, Carl Osborne; aunt, Margaret Coleman; sister, Allison "Aly" Lund; and nephew, McKayne Ramsey.

Preston is survived by his father, James Hampton; brothers, Gavin Robinson, Isaac Allen, Peabo Ramsey, Melvin Taylor, Torrey Allen and Bobby Stewart; sisters, Jameeka Elliott and Jazamine Henderson; uncle, Michael (Karen) Southerland; several aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends Melissa Jackson and Kayleen Ramsey and his beloved cat Kelly Belle.

Preston is remembered by his friends and loved ones for his kindness and sweet spirit.

Pallbearers are Donavon Treece, Markell Jackson, Adam Peak and James Woods.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 1pm to 3pm in the Resthaven Mausoleum Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 3pm with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Billy Davis officiating.
