Rachel Foster

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rachel Marie Foster, age 86, who departed this life on July 22, 2025.

Born to the late Marshall Sartain and Rachel Rines-Sartain, Rachel lived a life rooted in love, faith, and family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mack Foster Jr., and their three sons: Ricky Foster, Mike Foster, and Doug Foster. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Arthur Sartain and Robert Sartain.

Rachel's legacy lives on through her devoted children: daughters Annette Nance and Diane Padgett, son Darrell Foster, and her cherished sister Elizabeth Arnold. She was a proud grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and was blessed with many great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.

Rachel was known for her gentle spirit, unwavering strength, and deep love for her family. Her warmth and kindness touched all who knew her, and her memory will remain a guiding light in the lives she leaves behind.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday July 25, 2025 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Hensley officiating.
