Ramona Green

Ramona Anne Green, age 72, of Newport, TN., passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Ramona ran and recorded many artists in her recording studio Green’s Recording Studio in Cosby. She also worked at Wilton Springs Hardware for 12 years. Ramona was an avid reader and NCIS fan.

Ramona was preceded in death by husband, Nickie Green; parents, John Barnes and Dorothy Hughes; grandson, Teddy Click; half-sister, Melissa Ball; niece, Angela May Hembree and special friend Tonya McFalls. She is survived by, sons, Tony, and Wayne Grooms; daughters, Tina Greene, and Regina Grooms; sisters, Linda Williams, Cindy Barnes, Lisa Barnett; brother, Roger Barnes; grandchildren, Nickie and Cheyanne Watts, CJ and GG Greene, Christian Hanes, Tanner Hanes; great grandchildren, Neena, Ella, Riley, Raven, Taylor, Rachel, Haylee, Tyler; special friends, Arvine Grooms, Christina McGaha, Mary Grace Freeman. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 7, 2022, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm, with service to begin at 2:00 pm. Entombment to follow. Resthaven Funeral Home is honored to serve the Green family.
