Richard L. "Rick" Crigger

Richard (Rick) Crigger, 64, of Newport, Tennessee, passed on March 21, 2023 at his home. Richard was born to Willard and Pheobe Crigger on August 12, 1958, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He loved music and playing the guitar, he enjoyed watching NASCAR races and fishing. He lived in Michigan for many years of his life and was an avid Michigan sports fan. He loved to be with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Rick was an outgoing, fun loving and free-spirited person with the biggest heart, there wasn’t a person who met Rick that didn’t love him.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Annette Crigger; his father, Willard Crigger; his stepfather, Carvin Cornett; and his granddaughter, Paisley Bryan.
Rick married Darlene Hall in 1991. They were together a total of 42 years and, in that time, they raised 5 children together: Brandon Hall, Cassie Hall, Sommer Grayson, Travis Crigger and Alexis Crigger. He is also survived by his mother, Pheobe Cornett Crigger; his aunt, Mae Woffred; his brothers, Randy Crigger and Robbie Crigger; and his 13 grandchildren, Austin Hall, Braylon Hall, Ethan Miller, Carter Hall, Trinity Roberts, Carsyn Roberts, Keylyn Roberts, Samuel Grayson, Aidyn Grayson, Baylen Bryan, Amber Crigger, Denise Crigger and Chucky Crigger. 
Memorial services for Rick will be held at Little Pigeon Church in Newport, Tennessee, on April 1, 2023, at 2:00pm.
