Robert “Arno” Boerner left this earth to go to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. He was preceded in death by parents, Arno Paul and Anne Cole Boerner, and a sister. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Benita Boerner of Sevierville; daughter, Sherry and husband Mike Cherry from California; sons, Louis Dobson of Texas, Jimmy Boerner of California; Mother-in-Law, Jo Ann Ferguson of Sevierville; Brothers-in-Law, Eddie and wife Gail Gray of Dandridge, Tim and wife Beth Ferguson of LaGrange, KY, Bob Ferguson from Bentonville, AR; Sister-in-Law Cherisa Ferguson of Sevierville; 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 5 nephews, 4 nieces and numerous other family members. Family and friends will meet at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy Knoxville, TN 37920, Friday, May 6, 2022, at 9:45 am for a 10:00 am inurnment service. Military honors to be provided by Pigeon Forge Veterans Honor Guard. Resthaven Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Boerner family.
