Robert & Maureen Caswell Obituary

Robert Charles Caswell and Maureen Sylvia Florence Caswell peacefully passed away together to continue their eternal love story in the presence of Our Heavenly Father.

Robert departed on February 23, 2024 and Maureen followed shortly after on February 24, 2024.

Robert "Bob" was born November 22, 1932 in New Jersey to Allen and Dorothy (nee Roseberry) Caswell. He served in the Color Guard and as Cook in the United States Air Force.

Maureen was born May 24, 1936 in London England to William and Florence Matilda (nee Smith) Driver. She was an accomplished hairdresser, model and even appeared on the television show "To Tell the Truth"

Bob met his soul mate Maureen while stationed in England. They were married in Kent England on October 23, 1954 in a ceremony featured by the local paper.

After serving, Bob returned to New Jersey with his beautiful bride Maureen and resided in Watchung, NJ. They had two beloved children, Robin Lisa Caswell of Colorado and Pamela Mia Kelly of Tennessee. They lovingly welcomed their son in law, Robert Kelly, into the family and were extremely Blessed and proud to have two grandchildren. Ava Grace Kelly and Mia Elizabeth Kelly. 

Bob started, loved and had a long career at his own business as a milkman and was well known and loved for his kindness and generosity. So many family and friends fondly remember him and have wonderful stories to tell about "Bob and his milk truck".

Upon their retirement, Bob and Maureen moved to Nettles Island in Jensen Beach Florida.

They recently celebrated their 69th anniversary at Tennova Convalescent Center and serendipitously renewed their vows.

Robert is predeceased in death by his parents Allen and Dorothy Caswell, His brothers: William (Bill) Caswell Sr.(Lillian), Allen Caswell Jr.(Dorothy), and Frederick Caswell. His sisters: Margaret Ann Caswell, Marlene DeWolf (Charlie ), Eleanor Saltor (Calvin). He is survived by his sisters Gwen Place (Dan) and Gerry Wilson (Jim), along with many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family.

Maureen is predeceased in death by her parents: William and Florence Driver; sister Pamela Eutsler (Carl) and brother, Allen Driver (Jean) She is survived by her nieces Maureen West, Michelle Mirabile and Lesley Driver and extended family.

There are no services scheduled at this time, but the family will notify when information is available. Our family asks that Bob and Maureen's love story be celebrated and may it be an inspiration for the Power of Love through Christ. We were honored to be a part of their story and we will miss them dearly.

As our beloved father, Bob, always said, "Keep the Faith, You Shall be Guided, One Day at a Time and Tomorrow's a New Day. May the Lord give you Wisdom, Knowledge and Guidance"
