Ruthellen Crews

Ruthellen Crews, age 97, died at home in  Knoxville on December 7, 2024.  

She was born to Robert H. and Della Morgan Crews in McCarysville, Georgia on July 3, 1927.  She is proceeded in death by her parents and sister, Emma Kathrine Crews.  

After receiving her PhD, Ruthellen had an enjoyable career at The University of Florida as a reading specialist professor, and enriched the lives of many teachers and students. 

At her request, no services will be held, and Ruthellen will be interred at The Historic Emma Jarnagin Cemetery in Morristown, Tennessee.
