Sandra "Sandy" Flemming Fullington

Sandra Flemming Fullington, age 59, of Asheville, NC., passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021, surrounded by her son Chad, daughter Misty, daughter in law, Kyla and her best friend, Jennifer when she took her last breath.  Sandy was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She always put her children, Chad and Misty before herself. She spent her life making sure her children had everything they needed and wanted. Sandy was always their biggest fan and best friend. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. Riley, Harley, and Lexi always wanted to spend all their time with nana. She was their favorite person from the start. Family was her life, and all who knew her knew this.  Sandy was so many things: a wonderful mother, a loving nana, the best sister, a hard worker, an amazing mother-in-law, and completely selfless, she would help anyone anyway she could. Sandy was loved by her coworkers and everyone she came in contact with and was the type to leave a truly lasting impression. Most importantly, she was a child of God, and a true role model. We know now she is in heaven welcomed by Jesus, finally hearing those words “Enter good and faithful servant”. Sandy was preceded in death by great grandparents, Zelma and Clyde Sexton; grandparents, Betty R. Hall, Hugh Flemming; brother, Darrell Hall; granddaughter, Jadyn Denton. She is survived by son, Chad (Kyla) Ricker; daughter, Misty (David) Ricker; grandchildren, Riley Ricker, Harley Denton, Lexi Ricker; siblings, Rhonda Cox, Rocky (Brenda) Flemming, Donna (Fred) Jackson, Barclay Woods, Damien Rose, Selena Roe, Isiah Roe, Jacob Roberts. The family would like to give thanks to her  best friends, Jennifer, Selena, and Shelby. A special thanks to her Mission family, especially her ER family, who did everything they could to keep her here with us.  Family will receive friends at Resthaven Memorial Gardens chapel on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm, with service to follow.
