Shirley passed away December 22, 2020 to Covid Complications. She was preceded in death by her parents; Dick and Naomi Collins; brothers Don, Rolan, Herbert, Carroll, and Larry Collins; Sisters Jessie Atkins and Wanda Kimbrough. She is survived by her daughter Sherry Hopkins (Saundra Dishman-spouse); stepdaughter Melissa Roesser; Sister Hazel Smith; Companion Gene Manley; Many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She attended church in her younger years at Leadvale Missionary Baptist Church and Freewill Baptist of White Pine. Shirley was a 1959 graduate of White Pine School and gave 44 years of service to Magnavox in Jefferson City. She was an adventurous soul who enjoyed hiking, including to Mt. Leconte and riding motorcycles. Holding a motorcycle license up until her death. She also never met a yard sale that she didn’t like and never set foot in a dance hall. She has arrived at the Pearly Gates yelling Here’s Shirley!!!
A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 3:15 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with burial to follow.
