Thomas Dewey Talton

Thomas Dewey Talton, Age 84, of Newport, TN. went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 26, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents William (Bill) and Lula Talton; brothers Cley Talton, Joe Talton, Ralph Talton, and Wallace Talton; sisters Ima Jean Blazer, Betty Ruth Blazer, and Rosalee Jennings.

He is survived by brother LV (Joann) Talton; sister Etta Caldwell; son Curtis (Jeff)Talton (Sheila); daughter Patricia (Charlie) Evans and son Dewey (Buck) Talton; grandchildren Candie (Randy) Crum, Casey (Derrick) Webb, Hunter (Charlotte) Ramsey; great grandchildren Payton Worex, Deegan Crum, Dexton Webb, Dylan and Tyson Webb.  He is loved by a host of nieces and nephews. Special friends Jerry and Terry Ramsey.

We would like to give a special thank you to VA home Based Primary Care team, ALPS of Morristown, Centerwell, and Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice for providing the most exceptional care.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum.  Funeral will begin at 3:00pm with Eddie Blazer officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
