Timothy Charles Smelcer

Timothy Charles Smelcer, age 59 of Nashville, Tn., passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Timothy was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.  Timothy enjoyed spending his time with his family. He loved fishing, watching TN sports, and coaching baseball.  He was a Nascar fan and had a special love for cars.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Dinnie Smelcer; mother, Margaret Smelcer; and close friend Willie Strange.  Timothy is survived by his father, Charlie Smelcer; sister, Janice Smelcer; the love of his life Melissa Ramsey; son, Jordan Smelcer; stepdaughters, Angela Smith and Tera Owens; grandson, Raylan Owens; soon to be granddaughter, Rinley Smelcer; close friend, Jason Long; and loving pets Trixie and Tracy.  The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the Field of Dreams Activity Center located in Dandridge,  Tn. (1145 Treadway Dr. Dandridge, TN. 37725). Family request that any flowers be sent to Field of Dreams Activity Center.  Resthaven Funeral Home is honored to serve the Smelcer family.
