Veena Rochelle Hopson

Veena Rochelle Hopson was born July 28, 1988 in Logan, WV. She passed away at home July 10, 2023 in Dandridge, TN where she lived for more than 25 years. She was a 2006 graduate of Jefferson County High School in Dandridge, TN.  Veena was an animal lover and rescuer. She loved her dogs Waylen and Jazzmine. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Betty Lou Cline and Rush Albert Evans; paternal grandparents, Jean Hopson Hardin and Clyde Hardin; father-in-law, Lou Tassos Jr. Veena is survived by her spouse Louie Tassos III, parents; Odell (Joyce Evans) Hopson, children; Kaylee Tassos and Loue Tassos IV; grandchildren, Konner, Alana, and Serena; brothers, Mark Evans, and Jason (Tanya) Hopson; nieces, Akili, Amber, and Ciara; nephews, Channing, Carson, Devin, and Micha; In-laws, Betty Tassos, Mike and Butch Tassos, and Missy Haun.  She is loved and missed by many more family and friends. There will be a Celebration of Life held in Veena’s honor on Saturday, December 9, 2023 starting at 2:00pm.  Location: 1024 Volunteer Street New Market, Tn 37820.
