Vera Arlene Presnell

Vera "Arlene" Stokely Presnell born October 19, 1956 passed away December 15, 2019 at home with her loved ones by her side.  She is preceded in death by her late husband Delbert L. Presnell, her parents JD & Dora Stokely, her mother Pauline Gosnell, a very special baby sister Jannie Stokely Gurley, baby brother Arnold Stokely, special niece and nephews, Elizabeth Sprouse, Robert Stokely, and Dustin Stokely.  She is survived by her two daughters Amanda (Rodney) Williams and Crystal Presnell (Daniel) a very special loving grandson Bryson Lee Dwayne Dunn, who was her world.  Several brothers and sisters; James Stokely, Jerry Stokely, David Dockery, Jack, Lisa, Jamie, Annette, and Jeannette.  Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. All of her in-laws who have been very helpful to her and her daughters during this difficult time.  Special lifelong family friends Kay Corum, Sheila Wilson, Clariece Birchfield, Patty Hall Cooper, and her Food City coworkers.  The family would like to offer a special thank you to Tammy Francis of SMHH along with Deja, Lori, and a special Thank you to Avalon Hospice for all of their love and kindess. Also, a special thank you to Cindy from Avalon for the love and care you have given to both our mother and our family during this very difficult journey and thank you to many others  we are sure to have missed.  Visitation will be held in the Mausoleum Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home ~ Cemetery ~ Cremations on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m  with memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
