Vergie Illene Ivy

Vergie Illene Ivy, age 90, of White Pine, TN passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 in her home with her granddaughter by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Ivy; sons, Johnny Ivy, Sr., Billy Ivy, Stanley Ivy; daughter, Janet Ivy; and grandson, Johnny Ivy, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Shultz; Grandchildren, David Ivy (Harlow); , Nicole Lifford (Josh), Christina Bacon (Matthew), James Ivy, Jessica Ivy, Becky Petermeyer, a multitude of great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, and close friend Nancy Hatley. Vergie is also survived by her siblings Edna Hickman (Jerry) and Ernest Mease. 

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023 at First Baptist Church of White Pine. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow service at White Pine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Resthaven Funeral Home to help with remaining funeral expenses
