Virgil Eugene Manos

Virgil Eugene Manos, age 55, of Newport, TN., passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. He was a firefighter and paramedic. He loved fishing, hunting, and helping people. Virgil was preceded in death by father, Eugene Carl Manos; brother, Caroll Manos; stepmother, Ella Mae Manos; special parents in law, Louise and Johnny Allen. Virgil is survived by wife, Ella Faye Manos; sons, Ray John Allen, Douglas Manos; mother, Hazel Cheek; stepfather, Duke Cheek; five brothers; 2 half-brothers; 7 half-sisters; special aunt and uncle, Kathy Durham, Paul Parton; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Resthaven Funeral Home to help with funeral arrangement costs.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
