Voneda "Nan" Styles

Voneda “Nan” Styles, 91, of Cosby, passed away on November 26th, 2025. She was born on February 16th, 1934, in North Carolina to the late Lloyd and Lora Barnes. She took pride in her grandchildren, who were her everything.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her brother and sisters, and three sons, Kenneth Styles, Danny Styles and Richard Styles. Also, a host of extended family.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Mindy Styles, Chad Styles and Taylor Denton, and Rachel and Cody Valentine. Great-grandchildren, Jared Jones (Callie), Gage Jones, Chad Styles II (Roxana), Caden Valentine, Carter Valentine and Connor Valentine. One great-great-grandchild, Chad Styles III “C3”. And many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, November 29th, 2025, at Hilltop Baptist Church of Newport, TN, at 6:00pm. The family will receive friends an hour prior to service at 5:00pm. Cody Valentine will be officiating.

The family asks that any florals be plants, not cemetery pieces.
