Wanda Sue Lamb

Wanda Sue Lamb passed away on May 6th, 2023 after a heroic battle with cancer and kidney disease.  She was 74 years old.

Wanda is survived by husband Harry, children Juan (Shannon) and Scott (Melissa), and four grandchildren Duncan, Reagan, Ian, and Jonah. She is also survived by three sisters Lee Mudd, Joyce Blazer and Mistle O’Neil.  Wanda is preceded in death by her parents Cicero and Grace Mudd and five siblings.  Wanda’s greatest love was her family.

It would be wrong to say that Wanda “lost” her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have succumbed, Wanda stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. Just because she is no longer here doesn’t mean she lost her fight. 

The graveside service will be this Wednesday at 1pm at Resthaven Memorial Gardens at 2642 East Hwy 25/70 in Dandridge, TN.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Wilsonville Baptist Church in Newport, TN.
