William A Butterworth Jr., age 83, of Pittsfield, NH., passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, after a short illness. Bill’s pride and joy was his beloved dog Brutus, he never went anywhere without him. He was extremely proud to have served his country as a Seabee in the U.S. Navy. Bill also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. You could always find him working on some piece of equipment, hanging out at the local Army surplus store, or at TC’s garage. Bill is preceded in death by wife, Karmen Bean. He is survived by his children, William Butterworth of Dandridge, TN., Kimberly Tasker of Barnstead, NH., Richard Butterworth, and wife Heather, of Spanaway, WA; numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren; siblings, Francis Asbjornsen, George Butterworth, Mary Curtis, Nellie Garneau, Leonard McLaughlin; numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held in New Hampshire at a later date. Resthaven Funeral Home is honored to serve the Butterworth family.
