Wilma Oneda (Gilliam) Wine

Wilma Oneda (Gilliam) Wine went to be with the Lord on December 1st, 2024 at 12:55 P.M. at home surrounded by her loving family. She was proceeded in death by her daughters, Pamela Faye Wine and Michele Oneda Wine. Her parents, Charlie Gilliam and Gertrude (Toby) Gilliam, brother Johnny Gilliam and several beloved brother and sister-in-laws.

She is survived by her loving husband, Franklin D. Wine of Newport, son, Michael Franklin (Donna) Wine of Newport, Daughters, Deborah Elaine Franklin of Newport, Rebecca Ann (Frankie) Ealy of Newport. Grandchildren, Jesse Aaron (Barbara) Wine, Brandon Adam Wine, Kyra Renea (Chris) Leffew, Michael Franklin II (Elisabeth) Wine, Brittany Marie Lawson, Megan Elaine (Steven) Auer, Madison LaShea (CJ) Furman, Jordan Lynn (Cassie) Stephenson, Anthony "Chase" (Grace) Bogle all of Newport and many Great Grandchildren whom she loved the most. Her sisters and brothers, Barbara Witt, Landon and Mary Gilliam, Kenneth and Sue Gilliam, Wanda Jones, Odean and Donna Gilliam, Jimmy Gilliam, Kathryn Sizemore, James and Deanne Gilliam and many nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank Smokey Mountain Home Health for their wonderful care and kindness to our mother and family. she loved you all very much.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 1:00pm to 2:30pm at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum.  Funeral will start at 2:30pm with entombment to follow. 

We will receive family and friends after the services at Greggs Chapel Church located at 661 Warford Road Newport, TN, 37821.

We truly appreciate all the love and prayers that everyone has shown us through this difficult time. May God Bless you all.
